I read your entry with great interest, especially your writing about the Masai. Are you Kenyan? Now I will digress. There are no members from Uganda on h2g2. or the Congo. I was born in Uganda in 1953. Kilembe to be exact -10 miles from Kasese which is now a refugee camp for those fleeing the Congo. Do you know anyone who knows this region? I want to know what has happened to the place I was born.

Hey Kasese,

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment on my Kenyan entries. Sadly, I'm not Kenyan, but I do love the country and hope to return in the very near future - especially to Mount Kenya and climb that mountain again. smiley - smiley

If you'd like to find out more about what's happening to your place of birth, why don't you type in the name in the search box in the top right hand corner of the screen? You will get results from the Web, from the BBCi site and from BBC News.

It's worth a shot smiley - smiley
