Thanks gang. I'm not sure you've quite got it right, Livzy, Lint is a form of fluff, and best got off with upturned sellotape, but the effort is appreciated, and I'm glad you read the entry. He was a bit of a geezer, wasn't he?

Wow, nice beard. That was an age when men really knew how to cultivate facial hair. I personally think we need a Guide entry on great facial hair fashions through history. So we'd have such greats as the Muttonchop or Dali's extreme waxed moustache.

If you want to, you could look at the original entry on my page, which contains a link right near the end to a photo of the man himself at the age of 78, and you will see that IRL his beard was pretty terrific for a chap of that age. The picture in this approved entry is a (very good) approximation only.
