A Conversation for Death
NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE
upthejunction-not Started conversation May 29, 2003
I just wanted to put my two penny worth in about death.
I had a near death experience about 25 years ago and I was and still am a atheist but I now know your mind will survive your body as it can exist without it. Forget the surreal tunnel of light and the people, I only knew I was out of my body and I was still 'alive' what ever that means.
My near death was a bit more unusual as I was a battered wive who had had it drilled into me he would kill me before divorce me and the papers were served and he attacked me. I obviously believed this was my moment but my mind said 'heh! lets get out of here' and I am up in the corner of the ceiling watching the ensuing altercation with my body and the police arriving. Then BINGO I am back and in another room.
But how do you tell the Judge the next day when applying for an injunction 'Well, it's like this when he attacked me I left my body and went up onto the ceiling and watched. I think I would have been locked up. At least now they are accepting that there are unexplained instances of OBE
