My favorite supermarket game is 'Gap in the Queue' . Best played in a queue of many people, when a gap forms in front of you don't move forward and wait for people behind to start tut-ing and shoving.

Good morning!!!
pesonaly I feel that supermarket grandprixe is much more intresting particuly if you get security afteryou (late night is best). if you click on prefrences over to the left of the screen you can give yourself a nickname thats a bitless of a mouth full and if you click edit on the top right in your space then you can tell the world a bit about yourself!!

Gap in the Queue is even better played in the car at the petrol station or waiting in a jam. Nice suggestions though.

Gap in the Baseball Stadium Parking Lot (And Surrounding Freeways)
fetushero Posted Jun 23, 2002
I've found that the in-car variation of "Gap in the Queue" is extremely fun to play in the parking lot and surrounding freeways of Qualcomm Stadium (the major-league baseball stadium in San Diego in which the Padres play) after and before a game involving stadium-packers such as the New York Yankees. Californians are real assholes in the car, so it's fun to give them a taste of their own medicine. (I myself live in San Diego, although I'm a native of the DC area.) Those of you in other locales and/or with other sporting interests can do this with games involving teams such as the St. Louis Rams, Detroit Red Wings, Manchester United, Real Madrid and the like.

In Montreal we have little corner shops that we call depanneurs. At night (the ones that stay open 24hrs) have little booths so that you can't go into the store and parruse the ailses. The best thing to do is go the day before and find out what items are farthest apart. Then ask for them that night. The checkout man runs all over the store to get your stuff, takes your money and gives you your change. Then your goods are put through a little doggie door. Look in the bag and tell him that's not what you wanted. The doggie doors only go one way! See how quickly the cashier calls the police.

In our supermarket we have magic scanners, with which you scan all the produce as you walk round. When you get to the checkout, simply hand over the scanner and walk out - saves messing with conveyor belts (and half the games), save for random scans to check for honesty.
BUT, the beauty is that you can 'borrow' someone elses scanner and scan random items with it, and place them in their trolley. For bonus points be behind the person when they get a random scan.
Double bonus points for embarassing items.
