h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

In the summer of 2000, i went on an interrail tour of europe - taking in many of Europe's great cities - Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Krakow, Prague, Verona, Venice and Bordeaux, and I must say that krakow was my favourite of all. I found the whole town so beautiful, the women are beautiful, and pretty much everything is cheap, and the night life is great (and cheap). In short, it was the low budget backpackers' dream. Unfortunately, upon my return this summer, the number of English voices had increased from very few last year to (in my opinion), far too many this year, and to accompany this rise in tourist interest, rising prices too...my only regret is not having discovered Krakow years ago.
