This is a blast from the past. Tango started it off, as far as I remember, but who has finished it? I find myself among the list of researchers, but I can't for the life of me remember what I contributed, apart from gall and spleen.

Galaxy Babe picked it up from the Flea Market.
She has acknowledged everyone who gave useful information on the subject

Thank you. What a painful period that was. An object lesson in the importance of netiquette.
I see that my contribution was finding the 30+ references to salt in the Bible. This adds one sentence to the entry as published, so I accept co-authorship status with thanks (and a grain of salt).
I would like to mention here that salt is the only commodity personally endorsed by Jesus: "Salt is good . . ."

Sorry I hadn't actually read the original PR thread, or I might not have been quite so frivolous when I put up the link for you.
I am glad you accept co-authorship, GB always gives credit where it is due

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
