Great! I actually started reading your entry by accident... It's Saturday and I have to BE at work, but I don't feel like WORKING really 
So I started surfing the h2g2 instead and found your lovely post! I have to say - it's inspiring! I almost feel like running to the shop down the street, buying sketch book and few pencils and giving it a try!

Hi Malabarista! Yes, I will tell you how it's going. I may even show you, but it will take a while
I am not very good with the pencil and I am afraid that I'll need a lot of practice! Just hoping that some degree of persistence and curiosity with the outcome will make up for the lack of skills...

That's sort of the way mine is going. You never learn if you don't just try it! Do show me/us when you get something you like.
(That said, my ink bottle just exploded in my bag, so I'm rather annoyed at the whole comic drawing thing right now

Sadly, one of my comics has only just gotten back on track and the other....is dormant. I made the mistake of stopping too long, I thought silly little issues like finals were more important
