A Conversation for Nikola Tesla

Super job on Tesla. I did not see any references to ELF. I read that at the time of his death, the Checzs, the Russians, the British and the Americans were all looking for trunks of Telsa papers siezed by disgruntled hotel managers. I heard he often took over the penthouse floor of many different hotels when he was flush with cash. Later when his cash dwindled he still took up extravagant digs and was often evicted, loosing luggage, trunks, and extensive papers. Supposedly the Ameicans were first on the scene and got the best idea, ELF communication with submarines via low frequency radio. No other ideas seemed to exist or escape. Who knows, maybe the ultimate death ray is still out there, rotting on acid based paper...

Thanks for your comments. I'm gals you like the article!
I never found any reference to ELF in my researches, although I would like to know where you found out about that.
As to the papers- I think it was just standard FBI paranoia- they didn't know or care what was in the papers, but seized them anyway. That's not to say I'm not curious about what was in them! Like you say, they're probably just sitting in a warehouse somewhere, forgotten and rotting away....
PS Nice to meet someone else who's heard of Kinky Friedman!
