Yes I'm going to comment, but I have to right now. If I don't get back to you this morning, assume I've run out of time and forget I spoke thusly.

never-the-less -> nevertheless
"its own species of rat" - any evidence of this you can link to?
"If needs be, open the window at the end of the carriage to let in a stream of air." - politely asking any arses who stand there, blocking the hole to move. Also you need the window open in the carriage before yours for this to work. If that's shut you'll get no draft.
I'd also suggest that you say in that section that if you feel unwell you shouldn't get on the tube. Ken Livingston is not ruling out the possibility that some lines may have to close in heatwave weather in the future. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/5143388.stm As an asthmatic I can't travel on the Tube in the type of weather London is currently having.
"Other gates were installed to protect the lines in central London from the flooding of the Thames, but the Thames Barrier means this should no longer be a threat, at least until the sea levels rise above it." Possibly misleading - there is already a lot of talk about the Thames Barrier and how it's coping. Is this an addition you've made? If it was in the original can you do a quick bit of research to see if that still stands?
"successful suicide attempts" if it's successful it's not really an attempt, is it? It's a suicide...
"The Tube's indicator boards are often inaccurate" Not in my experience...
Also there are way too many footnotes. If you can't work them into the entry somehow then at least some of them should be removed.

oh, you could also add that from an environmental point of view, tube trains are the tied-third most efficient form of transport (ignoring walking). Cycling, then DLR/trams, with the tube tying with a double decker bus. This is when it's being measured if all the seats are occupied travelling 1 km which compensates for different sized methods of transport.

Then would I be right in thinking this is now ready to go?

Apart from missing the old title, which I thought was great, I can't see a problem with this being ready now, but I'm a bit of a Mina-come-lately on the thread...

My reasons for the different title are:
1. You can't really have two Ultimate Guides at the same time - one has to replace another.
2. I want to see what it does to the Editorial Note that appears in the thread when the entry gets updated.

Okay, just had a proper look over this. I was wondering if you'd be willing to get rid of the tables and reformat them slightly. Tables don't show up on the Mobile version of the site.
If you put the first table into a bulletted list instead, and for the second table, use something like this for each line:
King's Cross St Pancras
Interchange: Green Park Piccadilly to Victoria
Better Alternative: Finsbury Park
In the lists near the start, pop some ... tags inside the tags.
There are also a few small spelling errors:
Under 'Angel', it should be 'Apparently'
Under buskers, it should be 'instil' and in the blockquote you have 'centered' instead of 'centred'
Under 'Tube's Information Systems', second para, it should be 'occurrences'
And then this will be good to go. Sorry I didn't think of the tables thing earlier.

"in the blockquote you have 'centered' instead of 'centred'"
Except for the spelling correction, I haven't touched the blockquote, so it's not really me who has it there
I've made all the changes to the table bits
Maybe you should consider putting a note about the Mobile version in the Edited Guide Approved GuideML Help Page (A264520)

...with the DLR and Docklands Light Railway coming second...
Would that be a shared second place, or do they count as one?

Actually, come to think of it, part of the work was by Number Six (U115522 ), so could you credit him as well?
Key: Complain about this post
