A Conversation for Henry David Thoreau

Gardener

You dwell into Thoreau's life and works very rightly and spritely.
Yet,the tome of Homer was not the only thing stolen from the cabin: the dipper for Walden water was accidentaly taken by gaggle of frivolous ladies.(the Journal). As for a latch on the door: I would rather presume to say that there was none in operation. It is well known that Mr.Thoreau wrought the appliance himself,so I'm not sure about its quality.(Nothing rash.)
It is a bit thick that you come to think of 'Walden ' as a collection of Journal clippings. It is perfected book with the morale higher, tasks more immaculate, inspiration and rigourism so yielding, that it dwarfs in comparison numerous books yet existing.
In all other respects,I found your essay well thought-through and compelling.
