Worship no other god?

In the biblical text God states that as humans we should worship no god before him.
You can check me on this, but i believe that is what is stated, and that does not destroy the idea of polytheism.
This only makes "God" the cheif God, not the only God. You are to worship none before him, but it seems a limitless number after.
Make of this what you will.
