Translation of Asinocotto

Post 1

Jeremy (trying to find his way back to dinner)

Did you know that 'Asinocotto' means 'cooked donkey'?

I hope that that's not on the menu (on the other hand, if it tastes good, who cares ...smiley - winkeye)

Hi, it's Chris here (original author of the restaurant reviews),

Yes... Asinocotto means "cooked donkey" or (more specifically) "cooked ass" (ie, gender specific).

No donkey or horse on the menu, but tons of good stuff worth tasting!

All the best

Chris
