There's a reason I re-posted with a correction. The information on how much a quadrajet can flow in stock and modified configurations is wrong. Stock quadrajets ranged from 630-840 CFM. Most will flow up to 800 CFM with minor modifications. The carburetors "produced in the mid-seventies on big-block powered high-performance and luxury cars" flowed 800 CFM in the stock configuration.
