The Mr Bean on Blind Date take-off, which was shown on Comic Relief, was great. Normally I can't stand watching more than 0.01 second of the programme. Oh, and the Blind Date seen in "Mallrats" was good too.

There you go. It's possible to watch a whole episode of Blind Date only it's diluted or disguised in some way. The real thing is something the human physiology is simply unable to take.

I think the US version stacks it in favor of attractive people. I've never seen anyone on there look more than 35.

Or maybe they just film it in Los Angelos, it amounts to the same thing.

What's almost as bad as having to watch the old people going to tea dances is when they do the 'cutesy kid' one. Yack! Loads of primary school kids wearing their 'family wedding' outfits and hoping to win a trip to Disneyworld.

Australia has provided us with Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Guy, which almost makes up for Neighbours and Home And Away in entertainment value. Is there an Oz version of 'Blind Date'?

Hi, I generally like Brit shows, I don't watch neibours or Home and Away. I've started watching the royal family, which is great!! Brit humour is usually much better than Oz humour!
I don't want to be an actor I want to work behind the scenes.

I did a bit as Stage Manager for Barbershop Chorus and Quartet shows - it's great fun and You are in charge!! Enjoy it!

sorry for the delay in replying iv'e been off-line for a while.
I am retired now and have left barbershop some years ago when we got more interested in drinking than singing. By profession I am a Civil Engineer.

Funny how saying "Civil Engineer" shuts people up isn't it?
