There are two seasons of the series "Dirk Gently's Holistic detective agency" on Netflix. (BBC America/ Netflix production 2016-17)
Not based on the original book storylines, but entertaining nevertheless. The look and feel fit well. Maybe a bit more casualties than I remember and US based instead of UK.
The style of Samuel Barnett as Dirk Gently does remind me of Matt Smith as Dr. Who (which is not a bad thing)
Elijah Wood performs well without being a Frodo.
