I loved Quincy having started watching it when I was about 9 or 10; although some of the episodes were definitely "made for tv/mind stretching fiction" it was for those times, the only knowledge we really had on tv about forensic science; anyway he inspired me! I am now studying Criminology at degree level and working towards a Masters in Forensic Psychology!! I think Jack Klugman is now around 80 but he always played the part with great professionalism and i think the series touched on a lot of issues that are sadly highly prevalent today and which were dealt with again in a professional and sensitive manner. Quincy rules!!
[dont know what "Gil Grissom" would make of him though, think they would make a good pair perhaps?!!]
