There was no UK at this point in history, so they didn't set sail from it, also the majority (though not all) of the archers were Welsh (although whilst as skilled as an Englisman, were paid slightly less).
Otherwise a cracking article.

Not striclty true. If you read the accounts of the Black Prince's actions in France, written by Chandos Herald, he makes the point that archers and Welshmen were involved. Why make the distinction? There are other references to Welshmen being employed as "knifemen".
The majority of archers at Agincourt would've been raised by commissions of array, most likely from counties such as Cheshire, Hereford etc.
