Very good - though you've missed a couple of telling points about the gunpowder plot.
Lady M's speech which includes: 'Look like the innocent flower/But be the serpent under't' is a direct reference to the medal which was struck to honour those who brought about the downfall of the conspirators and the porter is a thinly (well, not at all thinly) disguised portrait of Father Garnett, one of the plotters famous for his equivocation during his trial.
