A Conversation for Baked Spaghetti

I make a similar dish, but it's even simpler than this one.
What you need is 1lb (500g) raw, dry spaghetti (yes, I'm not kidding), 600g tinned chopped canned tomatoes (or canned tomatoes, chopped!) and 1lb (500g) cheddar.
Layer into a large oven-proof dish the spaghetti, then the tomatoes, then the cheese, and repeat. Stick it in the oven at gas mark 5 (190degrees) for 40 minutes, and it's done and delicious.
It really is that simple - the pasta absorbs the tomato juice and cooks in that. If you want /slightly/ more complication, add a layer of fried onion in the middle (so that it sticks to the cheese, rather than just sitting there at the bottom of the dish), and obviously you can add whatever herbs take your fancy, as well as mushrooms, sausage or whatever. Red / yellow / green peppers tend to produce a slightly weird taste, however - you can try it, but it's rather strange.
