I just got a job in the Human Resources office of a company, and I see people come in all the time to get interviewed. Try to smile, to be personable (as spaceboy said, be the kind of person you would want to work with), don't mumble or talk too fast-- if the interviewer can't understand you, you don't have a chance. Look good, act confident, ask lots of questions, be truthful, and want the job.
