david irving is a problem because some of his earley work is very good indeed BUT then he started to be a hitler appologist then just
got worse, although a lot of his work is used by; beevor,kershaw and toland as research/background see index of refs in back of their books.
parts of his books are used by kershaw in his 2 volume on hitler.
but now irving must be regarded as a revisionist appologist.
he can never now be taken seriously as a historian of independant thought.
