I remember when I was researching an entry on Alcatraz how incredible I thought it was that people could put other people in such conditions. This sounds a lot worse than Alcatraz, too. The iron gag idea is both creative and sadistic... I like my tongue very much where it is, though.

This is very much like the regime they had at Lincoln Prison in the UK: they had the book of Common Prayer to read as well.
