A Conversation for Magnetic Poetry

I think it would have been wise for the author [I'm very new at this "Reasercher" stuff or I'd know where to find his (or her) name] to warn against using magnetic poetry on credit or debit cards as the magnets will surely ruin them. Unless that is your intent.

My experience is that the magnetic strips on credit cards are too weak to support magnetic poetry. Hence, you can't stick magnets to your credit cards even if you try.
I suppose there might be some danger if you carried a portable magnetic poetry kit in your purse, and had credit cards loose in your purse as well. But this is an unlikely enough scenario that I didn't consider putting a mention in my entry.
You are right to point it out, though. Just like computer media, magnetic strips on credit cards can be erased when they are placed too close to magnets. Thanks for mentioning it!
