Labrador to Iqaluit?
westbound Started conversation Oct 16, 2004
I've traveled up the 389 to Labrador City and have seen Gagnon, the Manic Cenq Dam(largest of its kind in the world) and have gone to Gros Morne and Lance Aux Meadows on the rock.
Next summer I want to travel to Iqaluit. However I was wondering if I could get there by using the boats that service the outports of labrador and Baffin Island(if theres any there). I figure this is the best way to view the north eastern coastal area's of Canada. Who organizes the servicing of the outports and how mch does it cost to board them?
Any help would be great. I'd drive to Iqaluit if my car didn't have an issue with deep salt water. And if I fly I won't see anything except the airports and large cities.
