A Brain Tumour Patient's Story

Excellent article over what is a topic close to my heart (or should that be brain,I am 36 and have a Grade 2 Astrocytoma in the Temporal lobe and have had for 8 years now. I undergone radiotherapy, 2 operations but still have part of the tumour. Luckily I don't get too many seizures anymore and for the most part am well.
One thing that has helped me so much has been the love and help from my amazing family and very tolerant wife (for putting up with me on my bad days)and likewise from friends who have rallied around me.
Music is a great source of relaxation and comfort for me (even if the latest U2 album is only mediocre )
I have certainly lost a great degree of confidence and am a lot more introverted than I once was but I am alive and will keep fighting on to do my family proud.
