I had tonsillitis six times in the year following my son's birth but nobody suggested whipping them out. I usually get it at least once a year, but not usually more than three times. It seems that people who are really run down are more prone to suffering from it as some of my other new-mummy friends also had it despite never having it before.

The last time I had it I told the doctor I need the antibiotics and she did out the prescription and eventually said "I suppose I ought to just have a look to check" - took a glance in there and said "Ergh! I should really have just taken your word for it!". I expect I'll have a few bouts next year after #2 arrives, now could be a good time to invest in haagen daaz
