I thought Accrington's football team was called Accrington Stanley??

Accrington FC, the "Owd Reds", were the original club from the town and were League founder members. They went out of business in the late 19th century (I forget when) to be replaced by Accrington Stanley, an unrelated club from the town. Stanley then stuttered along until, as everyone knows, they were dramatically wound up in the middle of the 1962 season. The two clubs are often confused.
