Dear sub-editor:
I continue to say that mly just doesn't look right.
I googled "IAU mly" and every thing that came up was Mly not mly
see also http://www.newuniverse.co.uk/Light_year.html or
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mly

But it says "mly" in your original that went through PR, I just checked. That's what *you* wrote; if I had been the sub-ed here I would assume that's the way it should be. However I see the sub-ed has changed it for you

Gnomon there's a "Zeti2 Reticuli" which should be Zeta2 Reticuli, and an overhanging link on "extra-terrestrials" - I'll fix them but do they need reporting at Curators if I tell you?

No. They're obviously mistakes, so you can fix them. Neither is a change that the author is likely to complain about.

Done those
There are some excess commas that I've removed also.
<> table needs centring, and there's a footnote with a gap, which I'll fix as well

Two footnotes had a gap
Table centred
Fixed the code and added a proper title tag
Some of the Greek letters are lower case and some upper. The prescedent has been to use lower case unless one begins a sentence, so I'll go make them uniform now. The link "Greek" will be extended to include "alphabet" as well, I just checked the link.
Also fixed the spaces between dates to conform to h2g2 style.
Almost all the links say LINK h2g2 and LINK href, which I haven't time to correct now

Thanks, GB. I corrected those lowercase tags and made a few other changes:
genitive of the constellation --> genitive of the constellation name
varies between +4.42 and +4.61 -- add full stop.
a proper motion about 26% of Barnard's Star -->
a proper motion about 26% of that of Barnard's Star
0.41 Astronomical Units, however, only the one at 0.12 AU (HD 27894 b) has been confirmed. -- this is a case where the word "however" has mistakenly been used instead of "but". I've changed it to "but".
was not a fabrication -- I've changed this to "was not a deliberate fabrication", because the way it was written, it almost suggested that they actually had been abducted!
