I was very pleased to find your entry and discover that there is a Pern story I haven't read! Cheers mate (but now I'll be forced to buy it so I guess you've just cost me a fiver! Oh I'll let you off!)

Hi Greebo, I have to say that as it worked out I got a promotional gift voucher for a well known on-line book store in my e-mail and the book cost me only £2.54 including p&p!! What a deal eh!
Anyway thanks again for your page and it's very useful information!

Yes... me see that Amazon was doing a few offers... was that the well known on-line book store... ~grin~
Happy reading anyway... me can't wait until the new dragon book comes out...

Hi Greebo, yes my certificate was an Amazonian gift, and thank you my reading was happy, though shortlived as it was just one story in a compilation book..."Legends"!
Anyway, I re-read "Lord of the rings" again since so I've been kept happy enough...may start on "Dragonsdawn" later though.
See this is why my own book gets no-where, there are just too many books I'm happy to read again and again and they're obviously so much more interesting than me and what I'm writing about! Oh woe!
Ha ha never mind. Take care.

Me has the same trouble... me loves re-reading well loved stories... me is reading the latest David Eddings book at the moment... and enjoying it...
raspberria Posted Sep 27, 2000
If you like the "Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy" then I found an excellent book you might enjoy in a second hand shop the other day.
It's called "Cosmic Banditos" by A.C. Weisbecker, well funny!!
Anyway just thought I'd recomend it to you in case you ever fancy some new material.
By the way, have you ever read any Robert Jordan? If so is he good?
Hope you don't mind me picking your brains!!
GreeboTCat Posted Sep 28, 2000
Hmmm... me has not read any Robert Jordin... though me does have some of his books waiting to be read around her... ~grin~
