have read katherine kerr? her stuff is a little more gritty than mc caffreys but i like her even better... tho i love pern and petaybee books. Kerr also writes both fantasy 
and sci fi... i fell totally in love with rhodry in her deverry series! ::swoon:: is that a little odd?

Hi.. thanks for the doughnut... ~grin~... always appreciated... me often falls in love with characters from books... me guesses its because you get to know how the characters are feeling... Me always wanted to be Jaxom... and have a dragon just like Ruth... ~bigger grin~
