Man vs. Horse
Peregrin Started conversation Aug 9, 2000
In Wales somewhere there's a (moderately) famous race called Man vs. Horse. A cross country course is laid out, and competitors either ride a horse or run it. There is no specific route, it's just a matter of going from A to B - but there are always obstacles like steep slopes, and close forestry, which a man can get through but a man on a horse has to go round.
The ultimate aim is to run the course and beat the first horse. This has been done for the first time this year - by a marine who has been training especially for the event. He won a large monetory prize that has been building up every year.

Don't they also include cyclists as well?
I think they at least used to.
