Great entry!
I was in Weymouth in July and was delighted to realise that at one end (the right as you look at the sea) the beach is open for dogs, even in summer. It's only a small stretch but it is a stretch, nonetheless, and our dogs joined the many others romping in the sea.

I really wish I'd put in s'thing to that effect as we have a King Charles Cavalier spaniel, and Mrs BA is always on the look=-out for dog-friendly beaches. Whenever sahe's in Weymouth she's always saying, 'Now which end is the df end?
..
