I was really beginning to despair, but now i travel with a smile on my lips and a song in my heart...Thank you very much for providing some tips on how to get started. I'm currently trying to come up with some songs for a partnership with a friend of mine, and although i can play, i could never write. Until now. Incidentally, i know this is useless for the ideas stage, but if u can't afford a studio, dust off your playstation and get hold of a copy of Music 2000 - it's very basic, but it can be a godsend when u've got an idea in your head and want to know what it sounds like.
