Or Bran Castle as it's also known.. It actually doesn't look like ou might think Dracula's Castle should (or have I just seen one too many movies?) Being white and rather pretty. However it is well worth a trip - if you can cope with the steps up to it.

Thanks Swiv, yeah the steps are a bit of a problem. Mind you as I was there on a ski trip the exercise up the steps did us good.

Well we had to work off the previous night's rather large pizza and alcohol session. (though I would like to point out that the only Romanian alcohol we had was the wine - I am not a fan of palinka)

If I remember correctly we mixed the palinka with wine and vodka.

UMMMMMMMM. My dad still has nearly a full bottle of the stuff, that I got him for Christmas I have heard though that palinka is good heated up with honey. My taste for hot drinks extends to gluhwein, and for 'local' drinks to Amarula mmmmmmmmmm

It's NOT Brun Castle, IT'S BRAN Castle! not also , but only Bran, please don't post something you're not sure about! I'm Romanian coming from an area not far from it, have seen it at least 4 times and there's never been any other denomination for this castle! It's only Bran Castle!
