Most humourous use of a tampon on the Telly: Rik Mayal, in the Young Ones.
(Digging through a purse), "Oh, look.. A telescope... WITH A MOUSE IN IT!"... (bounces "mouse" around, on other party goer's arm, in drink. Looks back in purse).
"Oh, look, there's a whole box of them in here." (look of surprise 
, "EXCUSE ME!" (runs away).

Hilarous. Would be even more so if I hadn't had a panty liner stuck in my hair at a party.
Unused of course.
I'm enlightened, if not grossed out by the entire thought of them in general.
