I have a faint glimmering of what you speak but my wee tiny pea brain remembers *Nand* which I believe is *Not And* and *Nor* which is *Not Or*? This I remember from some long ago explanation of some computer logic. Help!
Help regain my lost (perhaps false) memories.

Boolean Logic is easier for us mere humans to understand using AND and OR, but the NAND and NOR gates are easier to build electrically, so logic circuits tend to be built using them. You are correct that NAND means NOT AND while NOR means NOT OR.
