A Solution to Pollution?

The world that currently houses us, feeds us and that has given us birth is potentially undergoing a vicious case of matricide.
We, the people of this earth, have grave concerns about the shine, life and body of our hair.
I believe that these two cruel twists of fate can be one step closer to resolution if people start to realise, en masse, just how damaging polution can be to their beloved tresses. Would you agree that, given appropriate backing (not to mention the finest minds that marketing has to offer), we could end pollution and follicle damage forever?
Or do you feel that there is still some depth to human reckoning, and that we may have to resort to more complex solutions, like trying to explain to people things that seem totally beyond their zone of control?
