You need to make a mention of Unreal Championship And Unreal Championship 2 (The Liandri Tournament) the XBox versions of Tournament.
I've not played Championship but the Liandri Tournament is a stunning game which I think rates close to Halo in playability. There are no vehicles in it but instead you get Melee combat in a third person perspective. This coupled with the extra aerobatic abilities in the game mean you can create some beautiful aerial frags by leaping a firing at the same time or smashing with a sword. It's a stunning game!
