Most of todays modern medicines are based on herbs + stuff from trees, or their barks (eg Quinine). This is why we have to preserve da Rainforest et nature.........else we all will die of malaria, or TB or somethig that is easily treatable.

Absolutely!
There are estimated to be 30M species (plants + animals) in the World, of which 2/3 live in the African rainforests - and rain forests cover only 6% of the Earth's surface.

it is interesting to note that nature has provided most of the cures that we need............maybe even a recipe for immortality itself..........work is being done on anti ageing treatments
