The Pirate

Sorry to disappoint you all, but the Pirate in Falmouth is now long gone. I was a student in Falmouth 1995-1998 and saw some great bands there (Ash, Silver Sun, Atlantic etc). Unfortunately, with the rise in popularity of 'dancy-dancy techno hard-core: you know the score' type music (and the departure of manager 'Big Dave'), the quantity of live music declined. The brewery have closed the pub and now plan to turn it into a 'wine bar' or some such nonsense.

To xenophobic with reference to Trago Mills, you can also add homophobic.

The cinema in Falmouth was never in st georges arcade. It was the building next up market st. There are four beaches in Falmouth, Castle beach, although it is not the typical sandy stretch is(or at least was) a very usaeful beach for parents with youngish children.
