I once ,many years ago, heard Jake sing a song entitled"I'm a Liberal man and proud of what I am"
I have searched high and low to get a copy of the song on disc, tape or a copy of the lyrics.Someone out there confirm that I did not dream this song-it seems to perfectly apt today in the land of champagne socialists and I am sure it would benefit us all to hear a revival.

John, I've got five of his albums and the Lah di dah CD but I don't recognise the words you describe. I'll go back and have another look, but i'm not very hopeful. Can you remember any other words in it? Just for another clue you understand.

I believe the song you are referring to is by Jeremy Taylor rather than Jake - although it's possible that Jake may have covered it. The song is called 'Liberal Man' and it is on one of Jeremy Taylor's live albums ('Live at the Young Vic', I think).

Sorry I was wrong about the album. It's actually on Jeremy Taylor's 1978 recording 'Done at a Flash!'

If you write an Introduction on you're Space, people can talk to you! At the moment it's rather difficult. That's the Edit Space button. The Preferences button can change you're name.
I'll give you an official welcome when I can write on you're Space.
