Five "and"s in a row

Post 1

Inkwash

A painter had painted a sign for the pub called "The Dog and Ducks", but when painting the name he hadn't left enough space between 'Dog' and 'and' and 'and' and 'Ducks'.

There should be "between" between the third and fourth "ands".

Sorry to be a pedant, but that's my nature (smiley - winkeye Ann Robinson-style).

When explaining that boolean logic is sometimes reversable, the teacher quoted the similarity of NOT (OR and AND) and AND and (NOT OR).

(OK - it's gibberish, but there's a lot of Ands in it)

Quick joke:
Q:How many logic gates does it take to change a lightbulb?
A:Many ANDs make light work smiley - smiley

*screams in bemusement*

Does that actually make any sense whatsoever? Oh well.

Is there a Lightbulb Joke competition (like the Haiku Challenge)? smiley - smiley

As a fellow pedant, I can't agree that the word "between" is necessary between the "ands".
The situation is correctly described, and an observer can reasonably state that, "There should be spaces between "The Dog" and "and" and "and" and "Duck".

Er... I meant that *strictly speaking*, there should be another 'between'.

All this pedantry is really starting to spoil the joke.
