A Conversation for The Hillsborough Tragedy

Even though I was only 6 in 1989 and not a Liverpool fan (The mighty whites from across the water), I still can't read or talk about the tragedy wthout wanting to cry. The lies that surround it still, the lack of justice still, the anger that something like this could have been allowed to happen.
In 1996 or 97, I forget which in my old age, The justice concert was held at Anfield. This was a great day. As we waited outside, the heavens opened, but the people, the fans didn't care... We were there for the 96, and we were determined to get justice for them. OK, justice didn't happen, but it did get noticed, and it was made known just how many people still feel strongly enough about the tragedy.
And regarding the certain paper, I still won't read it, and I'm loathe to touch it if I can avoid it.
Justice will be served in time, but we need a proper inquest first, and then Hillsborough's victims can rest in peace at last. But for the minute, while injustice still reigns supreme; to paraphrase a song written by the ever excellent Phil Jones, If you've stolen their spade, how can they bury their dead. Think about it, it will make sense... probably.
Justice for the 96.
