The h2g2 Poem

My name is disdain
Watch me weave my way down the King's Road, mobile glued to my ear
Drop it into first and park on the pavement by the school gate.
How am I driving? I'm far too important to care.
My name is pollution
I shall sludge seagulls in Europe, and then fly to Florida
I shall heat up cities and then hit the button for the airco
My monster never sees a mote of dust, of course - but you can still choke on my exhaust.
My name is money
I have all the extras - especially the ones I don't use
A single scratch on the paintwork would see you ruined
So get out of my way, and admire from a distance.
My name is 'accident'
Every day you will make a sacrifice to my glory.
The arm of a child ripped off by a bull bar,
Cyclist flattened against a thrown open door - repeat ad nauseum.
