Greetings, non-league footie fans smiley - smiley

For the third year running, Havant and Waterlooville have made it to the First Round proper of the FA Cup.

This time they've drawn League 2 side Brentford at home. For those of you who can't get tickets (myself included), it's being shown live on ITV on Sunday November 9th, at 2pm.

To get this far, the Hawks had the following results in the 2008-09 competition:

2nd Qualifying Round (27/9/08): Hawks 2 (Elphick, Simpemba) Shortwood United 2
Replay (30/9/08): Shortwood United 0 Hawks 1 (Holloway)
3rd Qualifying Round (11/10/08): Hawks 2 (Holloway, Booth) Godalming Town 1
4th Qualifying Round (25/10/08): Crawley Town 0 Hawks 3 (Simpemba (2), Watkins)

The Crawley result was a fantastic achievement, as Crawley were lying 2nd in the Conference Premier Division at the time.

If you haven't been following the Hawks this year, then they've lost a few key players from last season's successful team, including Alfie Potter, Rocky Baptiste, Richard Paquette, Mo Harkin and Tom Jordan. You can find the current squad here:

Come on you Hawks!
