I feel compelled to clarify some of the irish words used in your piece, particularly "gaillimh" itself. The best way do describe it is "Gal" as in galaxy and "ive" as in motive, with the faintest hint of a spanish "ll" as in mallorca. Not gail-im-ahuh, as I heard myself from an american tourist earlier this year...
Also, Gaelteacht is pronounced Gail (somtimes gwail) tokt (ch is kind of like the German ch, but a hard k-type sound will get you by)(and sometimes the first t is pronounced chy, as in chyukt.
Oh, and Macnas is MOCK-nus, Tigh Neachtain is Tig NYAK-ten, Roisin Dubh is RO-sheen DUV, and I ain't even gonna go near the names...
