A roving reporter went out to interview the general public on The One Show on BBC1 last night (15 Feb 11). Not one person had heard of these so he obviously avoided the hootooers. Or maybe our website is just a little too obscure. Still, I thought I'd let you know that the BBC are using h2g2 writing for their magazine programmes

The Eyelash Mites section starts at around 24 minutes in.
I wouldn't say that they used this entry directly, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had read it. They do mention a couple of points we made about acquiring them as you get older, and that they do a good job in keeping your skin clean.
