A Conversation for Shark Fin Soup
Does it matter?

I've often wondered whether it's the taste of food that dictates it's popularity and expense, or it's rarity and difficulty in getting it! I think the consumer pays the price for the capturing and killing of so called 'delicacies' and they don't care what it tastes like!!!!

i happen to love the taste of shark fin soup especially with vinegar in it. i do not agree that people pay tons of money to kill a shark and then they don't care what the soup tastes like. also, why is everyone beating on the chinese for killing sharks? the japanese kill tons of whales. how about we complain about that?
incidentally, vegetarian shark fin soup is just as tasty as real shark fin soup.
