I was thinking about writing an article on this topic myself. I'm a caregiver for my mother, who suffers from another progressive dementing illness.

Your tips on how to prevent the disease (and other dementias) are worth noting and following. In all of my reading, discussing and crying, I've never come across any information that was more than just speculation on how to prevent dementing illnesses. I just hope, for all of our sakes, that following a healthy, mentally and physically active lifestyle works to prevent these diseases.
