A Murphy's law of household Cleaning.

Nice entry!
May I just add this as an after thought to the whole episode of cleaning. It is an Murphy's Law -ism. (or Sod's Law, if you will: Whatever can go wrong will go wrong") drawn from a book full of such whimsical views about the little things that trouble us. There is specifically a whole chapter divoted to the Murphy's law of Household Cleaning. If I can find said book in question, I will see if there are any more like this one but this little gem, just for some odd reason, stuck:
"In order for something else to become clean something else must become dirty in comparisson to it. However, you can get everything that is clean, dirty, without any dirty thing becoming clean."
This is called "X's rumination on 'somethingoranother'", without the little book to hand, I cannot reference it. I will do so at a later date.
